Yesterday, our colleague Sarah (Client Services Manager at Orange Recruitment) attended the InvestNet Future Health Summit at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, one of Ireland’s leading healthcare events bringing together more than 600 senior healthcare leaders, innovators, policymakers, and industry experts from Ireland and across the globe.

The summit featured an impressive line-up of speakers from Ireland, the USA, the UK, Europe, and Asia, all sharing insights, innovation, and best practices focused on advancing healthcare for patients in Ireland.

Alongside thought-provoking panel discussions, the event also provided opportunities for networking, collaboration, and industry engagement through more than 50 healthcare and associated industry exhibitors.

From healthcare infrastructure and innovation to women’s health and personalised care, here are some of Sarah’s key takeaways from an insightful and inspiring first day at the summit.

An enlightening morning at the Investnet Future Health Summit, Day One, some highlights for me where on lessons learned, and what Irelands health care system is striving to implement for future care for all.

An excellent Panel discussion led by Sharon Scanlan on “Building the Backbone: Infrastructure That Enables a Modern Irish Health System.”

What does this really look like in Irelands Healthcare infrastructure delivery, lessons from international programmes, and how Ireland can accelerate meaningful progress.

Moving onto Women’s Health and “The Evolution of Women’s Health; innovation, data and the next frontier of personalised care”.

A very thought-provoking panel discussion led by Dr. Deirdre Collins, from leaders and champions for progressive change and innovation for Women’s health and care in Ireland, Dr Lynda Keaveney, Dr. Laurea Cullen, and Dr. Tanya Mulchahy.

I was struck on how far we have come in women’s healthcare but just have far we must go to bridge that legacy of an equality gap of clinical research and trails spanning back decades.

The energy for positive, meaningful change from the panel was inspiring.

The 2026 Future Health Summit continues at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre on 27–28 May, bringing together healthcare leaders and innovators from across Ireland and around the world. To follow more of Sarah’s insights and reflections from the event, connect with her on LinkedIn.
