Orange Recruitment is partnering with a successful and expanding engineering services organisation to recruit a Service Operations Coordinator for its Dublin-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating people, schedules, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact between customers, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring service delivery standards are maintained and operations run efficiently.
Working closely with management and field-based engineers, you will play a key role in planning workloads, managing service activities, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage service-related enquiries received via phone and email.
- Schedule engineers’ workloads and organise service and maintenance visits.
- Keep customers informed of progress, updates, and expected response times.
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance programmes.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external service providers.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
- Support invoicing processes and general operational administration.
- Prepare and manage compliance, reporting, and service-related documentation.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure efficient resource planning and service delivery.
About You:
- Previous experience in service coordination, operations support, scheduling, facilities management, or customer service.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a busy environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems.
- Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
