Orange Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a leading engineering company for their Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and driven professional to play a key role in supporting the company’s Directors in the successful delivery of high-quality engineering projects. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the resourcing of engineers, ensuring adherence to technical standards, and overseeing that all design activities align with project milestones and timelines.

Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Dublin Office

Salary: Competitive: based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple technical design packages, managing designer performance and making appropriate technical management responses.
• Full technical responsibility for Mechanical Building Services output on projects.
• Responsibility for key client management.
• Provides management, motivation, inspiration, and leadership for other members of the Building Services team
• Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project’s technical planning process.

Skills:

• Degree level in mechanical engineering or relevant construction discipline
• Demonstrable knowledge experience of mechanical design, particularly in relation of Part L, CIBSE comfort criteria across a range of building types
• Design packages knowledge including but not limited to HVAC Solutions, Public Health Installations Fire Engineering Systems Building Management Systems
• Ideally Chartered or working towards, have experience across a wide range of sectors including Residential, Healthcare, Education and Commercial.
• Understanding of design software packages, IES and REVIT/BIM would be desirable.
