Refrigeration Engineer

Orange Recruitment are looking for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a highly skilled team delivering maintenance and technical support across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, and critical environments.

Unlike many service providers, our clients work is delivered by their own employed engineering team. This means you’ll be joining a supportive environment with direct access to technical expertise, strong operational backing, and a management team that understands the realities of working in the field. This position would suit an engineer who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and is confident working independently while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Identifying improvements and providing practical recommendations to clients
• Recording all works accurately using a digital maintenance management system
• Building positive relationships with customers through professional communication and service delivery
• Working collaboratively with supervisors and fellow engineers to maintain high technical and compliance standards
• Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota

Requirements:

• F-Gas Category 1 certification (or equivalent refrigeration qualification)
• Proven experience working on commercial or industrial refrigeration and cooling systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to manage your own workload and work independently
• Professional approach with excellent customer-facing skills
• Full clean driving licence
