Orange Recruitment is currently hiring a Legal Executive on behalf of our client based in Dublin City. This is an exciting temporary opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and provide critical support to in-house legal counsel and solicitors. Ideal for candidates with previous legal executive or legal assistant experience in a fast-paced legal or office environment.
Job Title: Legal Executive
Location: Dublin City
Salary: €35,256 per annum
Job Type: Temporary | Full-Time | Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to the in-house legal team.
- Manage scheduling, including Outlook calendars, meeting arrangements, and taking meeting minutes.
- Handle general office administration including filing, photocopying, scanning, archiving, post, and responding to telephone/email queries.
- Support legal document processes: copy-typing, dictation typing, document formatting, and correspondence drafting.
- Maintain and update the legal document management system and archive.
- Assist with case law research (Irish Courts, Court of Justice of the EU) and maintain related indexes.
- Track, consolidate, and monitor relevant legislation.
- Review and analyse legal documents and input data as required.
- Prepare briefs and legal files for external legal advisors.
- Draft and edit legal agreements, letters, briefing documents, and presentations.
- Coordinate teleconferences and legal meetings.
- Assist with discovery, litigation projects, and furnishing of warrants.
- Collaborate with legal team to enhance knowledge management, workflows, and legal reporting.
- Monitor legal KPIs and support progress tracking against goals and deadlines.
Key Requirements:
- A legal qualification or diploma (e.g., Legal Executive course, Paralegal certification, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a legal support or legal executive role preferred.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong typing skills required.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team.
- Experience handling litigation matters, including document review or discovery, is an advantage.
- Strong research skills and understanding of legal databases and case law management.
