Orange Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Landscape Technician on behalf of a well-established company operating across the construction, property services, and facilities management sectors in Dublin.

This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to a skilled outdoor professional with experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial outdoor environments while supporting landscape installation and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform grounds maintenance activities including grass cutting, edging, hedge trimming, weed control, and general landscape upkeep.
  • Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and planted areas through pruning, watering, mulching, and seasonal horticultural practices.
  • Carry out landscape installation works including turfing, planting, paving, fencing, drainage works, and the construction of outdoor features.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all work sites are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, presentation, and safety.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and site-specific procedures.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance and landscape projects within agreed timeframes while maintaining excellent workmanship.
  • Assist with the loading, unloading, transportation, and storage of materials, plants, and equipment.
  • Identify and report landscape maintenance requirements, site issues, and equipment defects.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality landscaping and grounds maintenance services.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Landscape Technician, Landscaper, Grounds Maintenance Operative, Landscape Gardener, or similar outdoor role.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, horticulture practices, and hard landscaping works.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Competent in the safe use of landscaping machinery and equipment.
  • Strong practical skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outdoor spaces.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
  • Full driving licence essential.
