Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Orange Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their clients growing team in Dublin.This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, supporting project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, valuations, and cost plans
• Support the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including tender analysis and contract negotiation
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and cost reports
• Assist with the administration of contracts and management of variations
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify subcontractor claims
• Work closely with senior QSs, project managers, and site teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain clear and organised documentation for all project stages
• Participate in value engineering, risk management, and project reviews

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
• 2-5 years’ experience in a QS role, ideally with a main contractor or developer
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and building regulations
• Proficiency in QS software (e.g. Cubit, Buildsoft, Excel, CostX)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
