Orange Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced HVAC & Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established and expanding engineering services company.

Working across a diverse portfolio of HVAC systems and mechanical building services, you’ll play a key role in ensuring clients’ heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cooling equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers plenty of variety, technical challenges, and the chance to work alongside experienced engineers and management professionals who understand the demands of the industry. Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing of HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs on split systems, VRV/VRF units, AHUs, fan coil units, ventilation systems, and associated plant equipment.
  • Ensure heating, cooling, and air distribution systems are operating at peak efficiency and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and energy performance, providing practical recommendations to clients.
  • Accurately document service activities, maintenance reports, and compliance records using digital systems.
  • Deliver a professional and customer-focused service while building strong relationships with site contacts and facilities teams.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and fellow engineers to maintain the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
  • Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC and air conditioning systems.
  • Strong knowledge of VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, ventilation equipment, fan coil units, and associated mechanical plant.
  • Excellent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage your own schedule.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
  • Full clean driving licence.
