Orange Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the organization, administration, and implementation of a communication campaign for a prominent European organization. The role focuses on event programming, video production, social media management, and promotional activities.

Job Title: Events and Social Media Assistant

Salary: €48,000 to €51,000

Contract: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communication and Internal Coordination

  • Facilitate collaboration between internal communication teams on campaign deliverables.
  • Assist in reporting and evaluating the campaign’s outcomes within the unit and the wider organizational context.
  • Support budget management and procurement tasks related to the campaign.

Event Organization and Administration

  • Assist with planning and executing all activities related to the anniversary campaign, under the supervision of the Senior Communications Manager.
  • Prepare event programs, liaise with speakers, and coordinate with external contractors for events and webinars, including flagship events.
  • Identify and engage stakeholders, manage invitations, and prepare necessary documentation and online materials.
  • Organize and manage exhibitions as required.

Content Creation and Coordination

  • Develop and coordinate content for social media, audiovisual materials, presentations, website content, and information packages.
  • Manage the administration, finances, and follow-up evaluations of events.

Promotional Activities

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate promotional campaigns for publications, events, and webinars, focusing on social media, media outreach, and online dissemination.
  • Research, draft, and produce audiovisual content for various media channels.

General Support

  • Provide general support to the Internal Communication unit and act as backup when needed.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Proven professional experience or qualifications in public relations, communications, media relations, social media, marketing, event organization, or publishing.
  • Familiarity with European affairs, the European Union, and its functions.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including experience with Dynamics 365/CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) and engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work, combined with discretion and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated skills in digital marketing and social media management.
  • Exceptional administrative, planning, and organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
