EHS Advisor

Job description

Orange Recruitment are currently seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Advisor to join our clients team in Dublin. As part of one of Ireland’s most respected construction companies, you’ll play a key role in maintaining their commitment to the highest health, safety, and environmental standards across their active sites.

Responsabilities:

• Implement and monitor company EHS policies and procedures across construction sites

• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

• Identify hazards, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions

• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and EHS training to site personnel

• Maintain site EHS documentation, including safety statements and method statements

• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance

• Support the development and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental systems

Requirements:

• A recognised qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH, Diploma, or relevant degree)

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar EHS role, ideally within construction

• In-depth knowledge of Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation

• Strong communication and influencing skills

• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team-based safety culture

• Full driver’s licence and flexibility to travel to various sites within Dublin
