Business Developer - Retail, Hospitality & Tourism | Hybrid | Up to €45k + Commission
Location: Hybrid (Ireland-based with travel as needed)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to €45,000 per year (negotiable based on experience) + Commission

Orange Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing lifestyle brand with a strong presence in retail, hospitality, and tourism. With
10+ locations across Ireland, this company is known for its heritage, innovation, and award-winning stores, cafés, and food markets.

We are seeking a Business Developer to join their team and lead commercial growth across multiple revenue streams – including tourism, corporate gifting, hampers, events, hospitality, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across all commercial pillars.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and client base through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
  • Represent the brand at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with corporate clients, hospitality partners, tourism providers, and retail buyers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch new products, experiences, and concepts.
  • Track, analyse, and report on all sales and growth activity, adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management.
  • Experience in the retail, tourism, food, or hospitality sectors is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to build and grow business relationships from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule and goals.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
