Hours: Monday to Friday (Temporary Ongoing)

Driving Licence: Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential
Job Overview
We are seeking an organised and professional Clerical Administrator to join a busy healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining records, coordinating schedules, preparing documentation, updating databases, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to healthcare staff and management.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, interviews, and diary commitments.
- Prepare agendas, meeting packs, reports, and other documentation.
- Attend meetings and take accurate minutes, ensuring actions are recorded and distributed.
- Manage telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
- Process referrals and update healthcare records as required.
- Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and organisational policies.
- Input and retrieve data using healthcare IT systems.
- Assist with reception duties and welcome visitors when required.
- Support the team with ad hoc administrative duties as needed.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role within a busy office environment.
- Experience coordinating meetings and managing diaries.
- Strong minute-taking and report preparation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working in a healthcare, social care, or public sector environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare administration systems.
- Experience managing appointments, referrals, or service user records.
- Experience acting as a note-taker during meetings.
