Orange Recruitment looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients exceptional team on a key project based in Midleton, County Cork. Responsibilities:

• Taking full commercial responsibility for major project(s) from pre-construction through to final account
• Managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow across multiple phases
• Contract negotiation, administration, and procurement strategy implementation
• Leading subcontractor engagement, valuation, and performance tracking
• Preparing and presenting cost reports for internal stakeholders and clients
• Supporting risk management and value engineering exercises
• Mentoring junior QS staff and contributing to the development of best practices
• Liaising closely with project management, design, and on-site teams to ensure project delivery aligns with commercial targets

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar
• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a QS role, preferably with main contractor exposure
• Proven experience managing high-value commercial or residential projects
• In-depth knowledge of Irish building regulations, RIAI/GCC contracts, and procurement frameworks
• A solutions-focused mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in cost reporting tools and construction software (e.g. Buildsoft, Cubit, etc.)
