Orange Recruitment are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality technical and maintenance services for a corporate client. This role involves ensuring efficient and compliant facility operations, managing reactive and planned maintenance, and driving best practices in technical service delivery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, optimizing energy efficiency, and managing contractor performance, all while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsabilities

  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and in line with legal requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and client requirements, keeping records audit-ready at all times.
  • Act as the main point of contact for on-site staff, addressing technical queries and ensuring service expectations are met.
  • Ensure Risk Assessments (RAMS), Permits to Work (PTWs), and service records are collected, reviewed, and filed appropriately.
  • Manage site budgets, approve contractor invoices, and ensure accurate and timely client billing.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service efficiency, implementing best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and enhance site sustainability.
  • Work closely with the Senior Facilities Engineer, Facilities Team, and subcontractors to maintain high service standards.
  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with strict EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical facilities management within a corporate or commercial setting.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling, compliance, and risk management.
  • Ability to manage budgets, contractor relationships, and service documentation effectively.
  • Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work overtime when required.
