Service Engineer

Orange Recruitment are sourcing an experienced Service Engineer for our client based in Ballymount. As a Service Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You’ll play a key role as the Service Engineer in providing technical expertise, troubleshooting issues, and delivering exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain security, fire alarm, and building automation systems.
• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support and training to clients when required.
• Work closely with project teams and clients to ensure successful service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of service work and report on system performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining security, fire, life safety, AV, or automation systems.
• Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full, clean driving license (if required for travel).
