Orange Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Electrician for our client, a leader in the Facilities Management and Food Service sectors. The role involves electrical installation, maintenance, and repairs, with a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Salary: 50-55k

Job Description

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment. Specific duties may vary based on client needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, installation, and servicing as outlined in client specifications, following health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and participate in the emergency call-out rota as needed.
• Build positive relationships with clients and team members, and communicate job status updates to the Helpdesk.
• Keep professional qualifications up to date and attend review meetings as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and dispose of waste properly.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification, with additional mechanical and HVAC experience preferred.
• Essential experience with emergency lighting testing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to support M&E maintenance.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Clean driving license is a plus.
