Orange Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and flexible locum Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in Dublin West. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic practice, delivering essential support to children and families within a supportive and nurturing community environment.
- Work as part of an organised interdisciplinary team to offer the highest quality assessments, consultations and therapies to families and their children.
- Review all the documents on the client file to fully establish the appropriate assessment/s to be completed as part of the AON.
- Provide a variety of psychological assessments (ADOS, ADI-R and Occupational Therapy Assessments) to children and young people (3-17 years).
- Offer full-scale reports to relevant professionals and clients as well as liaising with schools and other required agencies.
- Within a interdisciplinary team, compile the evidence acquired to arrive at a differential diagnosis.
- Take part in the quality assurance of reports by having an active role in the presentation of results and feedback process with families.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy as recognised by Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI).
- Children First Training (HSE Certificate).
- CORU registration.
- Be a member of AOTI or be eligible to join.
- Minimum of 12 months postgraduate qualification experience.
- Relevant experience in administering diagnostic assessments in the area of ASD.
- Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2 Training.
- Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised Training (desirable).
- Eligible to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
Work Hours and Location:
- Flexible working hours and days.
- Hybrid working arrangements available.
Salary Information:
- €90 – €110 per hour
- Travel and any other work-related expenses are covered.
