Workshop Operations Manager – €50k+ Package

Orange Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to join a high-performing main dealership in North Dublin as a Senior Workshop Operations Manager. This role is ideally suited to someone coming from a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Aftersales leadership background who enjoys managing busy workshop operations, driving performance and supporting technical teams in a fast-paced dealership environment. The successful candidate will join a well-established dealer group with a strong reputation, modern facilities and excellent long-term progression opportunities.

The Role:

• Managing daily workshop operations to maximise productivity and efficiency
• Coordinating technician workloads and workshop scheduling
• Supporting technicians with diagnostics and technical problem-solving
• Monitoring repair quality and ensuring manufacturer standards are maintained
• Driving workshop performance, efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Working closely with Service Advisors regarding workflow and vehicle updates
• Supporting apprentice and technician development
• Maintaining high workshop standards across safety, organisation and quality control

Ideal Background:

• Qualified automotive technician or strong technical automotive background
• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, Workshop Supervisor or similar
• Strong diagnostics and workshop operations knowledge
• Experience within a main dealer or premium brand environment highly desirable
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach
• Comfortable working within KPI-driven environments
• Good IT and dealer management systems experience
