Registered General Staff Nurse

Location: Nationwide

Contract: Permanent Full time

Salary: Competitive salary scale with incremental progression.

Hours: 39 hours per week (rostered – days, nights, weekends, public holidays)

About the Role

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our leading hospital teams. Working within a fast-paced clinical environment, you will deliver safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in line with NMBI Scope of Practice.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

• Safely administer medications and treatments.

• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes.

• Adhere to HIQA standards, infection prevention, and hospital policies.

• Support and supervise student nurses and healthcare assistants.

Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration

• Previous acute hospital experience desirable (newly qualified nurses considered).

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.

• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster.
