Special Care Workers – Children Residential Services

Location: Dublin
Incremental Salary Scale : €37,055 – €68,169 per annum
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time

The Special Care Worker will join a committed, child-centred team providing high-quality care across Special Care Units in Dublin.

The Special Care Worker will support children and young people in residential care settings through structured interventions, daily routines, and emotional support, helping them grow, develop, and prepare for more independent living. Providing care for complex needs (emotional, behavioural, or mental health).

Supporting children in short-term, long-term, or high-support placements.

Minimum 18 months’ experience in children’s residential care.

What you need:

Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline

Experience working with children

Eligible to work in Ireland

Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and trauma-informed care

CORU registered or in process application
