Orange Recruitment are urgently hiring Social Care Workers for a respected adult residential service located in Grangebeg, Co. Kildare. In this role, you’ll contribute meaningfully to the well being and independence of residents, working in a warm and inclusive environment. To be considered, candidates must have a Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent) and a full driving licence with access to a vehicle. Salary Range: €36,379 – €52,445 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, permanent

Essential Requirements

  • Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent)
  • CORU registration must be at least in-process
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport
  • Minimum of one year’s experience working with vulnerable adults

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Emotional and Behavioural Needs: Apply positive behaviour support techniques to help individuals manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Complete daily reports, update care plans, and log incidents in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Professionals and Families: Work closely with families, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive care.
  • Monitor Health and Well being: Assist with medication, healthcare appointments, and promote physical and mental wellness.
  • Champion Rights and Advocacy: Help individuals understand and exercise their rights, while advocating for their voice and choices in daily life.
