Social Care Assistant – Residential Services (Co. Kildare)
Salary: €30,272 – €37,483 per annum + premiums
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Eligibility: Must be authorised to work in Ireland

Orange Recruitment is urgently seeking Social Care Assistants for a well-established Residential Service in Co. Kildare. This role involves supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives in line with HIQA standards and the New Directions model.

Role Overview

• Support and promote the rights, dignity, and choices of each person

• Encourage independence, decision-making, and personal development

• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and health-related needs

• Work in a person-centred way to deliver individual care plans

• Contribute to ongoing service development and quality care

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 (8 modules) in Social Care, Healthcare, or Nursing

• 1 year’s experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities

• Full clean driver’s licence + own transport

• Strong communication skills and fluent English

• IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint)

• Knowledge of HIQA and New Directions
