Job Title: Secretary (Part-Time)

Location: Blanchardstown area

Job Overview – Orange Recruitment is sourcing a Part-Time Secretary on behalf of our client within the education sector. This role is ideal for an organised, professional administrator who enjoys working in a busy front-office environment and providing high-quality administrative support.

Working Hours

  • Total Hours: 17.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Daily Hours: 8:45am – 12:15pm

Salary

  • Hourly Rate: €17.03 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing general secretarial and administrative support
  • Answering telephone calls and managing front-desk enquiries
  • Greeting visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Managing correspondence, emails, and filing systems
  • Data entry and maintenance of records
  • Supporting staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Handling confidential information with discretion

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional manner with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in an education or public-sector environment is desirable but not essential
