Job Title: Recruitment Support Officer
Location: Dublin
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2026
Salary: €32,844 to €48,428
About the Role
Orange Recruitment is sourcing on behalf of a public sector client for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Support Officer. This role is essential in supporting large-scale recruitment campaigns, ensuring smooth onboarding, and maintaining compliance and communication across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Account Management
- Coordinate and manage high-volume recruitment campaigns, including temporary and emergency staffing.
- Liaise with multiple agencies to ensure timely onboarding and resourcing.
- Support HR/OD Business Partners in delivering recruitment aligned with the organisation’s Workforce Plan.
- Ensure recruitment activities are professional, timely, and compliant with legislation and organisational values.
- Prepare and format job descriptions and application forms; manage advertising and candidate queries.
- Screen applications, prepare shortlists, and coordinate interview scheduling and documentation.
- Communicate outcomes to candidates and maintain a positive candidate experience.
2. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a key liaison with government departments and external partners.
- Provide clear, diplomatic communication and regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Policy, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure recruitment processes align with legal frameworks, SLAs, and public sector guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support standardisation of recruitment procedures.
4. Financial & Operational Administration
- Manage recruitment budgets, raise purchase orders, and collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams.
- Maintain records and oversee multiple operational streams simultaneously.
About You
You are an adaptable and detail-focused professional with experience in recruitment coordination, ideally in a public sector or high-volume environment. You communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and are committed to delivering high-quality, compliant recruitment support.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment support or coordination.
- Strong understanding of recruitment legislation and public sector compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and operational processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
