Job Title
Temporary Project Management and Communications Support Officer
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will provide support for project management and communications activities, including but not limited to:

Project Management Support

Supporting the management of a network of subject-matter experts
-
Identifying and selecting appropriate experts for specific assignments from an established pool
-
Liaising with experts and stakeholders
-
Assisting with contractual arrangements
-
Supporting invoicing, payments, and administrative follow-up
-
Tracking progress and delivery of project outputs
-
Maintaining and updating expert databases
-
Managing project mailboxes and related administrative systems
-

Communications Support
-
Monitoring and identifying newsworthy developments
-
Drafting short news items and updates
-
Editing and proofreading communications materials
-
Assisting with web publishing of content
-
Sourcing appropriate images or visual materials to support communications
-
-
Additional Duties
-
Carrying out any other tasks assigned by the Head of Unit or line manager within the scope of the project, as required

Desired Background
-
Completed university education of at least three years, evidenced by a diploma
-
Project management qualifications are an advantage
-
Experience in communications-related activities is desirable

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Sound project management capabilities
-
Interest in policy-oriented research related to industrial relations or working life

Very strong language skills, with fluency in English

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently both orally and in writing

Good communication skills using social media and web-based platforms
