Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Orange Recruitment have partnered with an established Dublin-based quantity surveying and project management consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This role would suit a QS who has already built a solid foundation in consultancy or contracting and is now looking to take the next step in a supportive, professional environment where work quality and long-term client relationships matter.
You will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of projects across a range of sectors, working closely with senior surveyors, project managers and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of cost plans, estimates and tender documentation
• Measurement and preparation of bills of quantities
• Tender analysis and reporting
• Cost reporting and cashflow forecasting
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Liaising with clients, design teams and contractors
• Supporting senior staff across multiple live projects

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience (consultancy or contractor background)
• Good working knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
• Strong attention to detail and organised approach to workload
• Comfortable dealing directly with clients and project teams
• Ambitious, reliable and keen to progress professionally
