HR Recruitment Support Officer
Location: Dublin / Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term until March 31st 2026

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Recruitment Support Officer to join the Corporate Services Team supporting large-scale recruitment and staffing projects. This role plays a vital part in coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with public sector standards, and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will provide critical support in the management of recruitment operations, agency relationships, and staffing coordination, contributing to an efficient, transparent, and values-driven recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Account Management
- Manage large-scale recruitment campaigns, including temporary or emergency staffing requirements.
- Coordinate with multiple recruitment agencies to ensure timely onboarding of staff.
- Support Business Partners with resourcing needs in line with the Workforce Plan.
- Ensure recruitment and selection processes are professional, compliant, and aligned with organisational values.
- Prepare and review job descriptions and application forms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Advertise roles, manage candidate queries, screen applications, and prepare shortlist reports.
- Schedule interviews and distribute interview packs to panel members.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Liaise and coordinate with government departments and external agencies.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and diplomatically with all stakeholders.
- Provide regular recruitment updates and reports.
Policy, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal, policy, and data protection requirements.
- Maintain standardised documentation and processes in line with public sector and organisational guidelines.
Financial & Operational Administration
- Manage recruitment budgets and raise purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams.
- Oversee multiple operational tasks simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Recruitment and/or HR Administration, ideally including temporary staffing.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment and scale operations efficiently.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and external recruitment agencies.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and documentation.
- Experience with finance and procurement processes, including raising purchase orders.
- Strong analytical, administrative, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Relevant Third-Level Qualification (Degree or equivalent) in HR, Business, or related field is desirable.
