HR Administrator
Location: Dublin, Ireland
We are seeking a HR Administrator to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources function, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in compliance with Irish employment legislation and company policies. This role supports recruitment, employee lifecycle administration, HR systems management, and employee queries.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR documentation including contracts, offer letters, and employment verification letters.
- Ensure employee files comply with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes.
Recruitment Support
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Assist with preparation of offer documentation.
- Support hiring managers during recruitment campaigns.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage employee changes including promotions, salary changes, and contract amendments.
- Process starters, leavers, and internal transfers.
- Support probation review tracking.
HR Systems & Data Management
- Maintain and update HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Generate HR reports and metrics as required.
- Ensure HR data accuracy and confidentiality.
Employee Support
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Escalate complex issues to the HR Manager where appropriate.
Compliance & Policy Support
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation.
- Support HR audits and documentation reviews.
- Maintain HR policies and procedures documentation.
Training & Development Administration
- Coordinate employee training sessions.
- Maintain training records and learning platforms.
- Support development initiatives and internal HR projects.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or HR support role.
- Knowledge of HR processes and employment lifecycle.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, BambooHR).
- Understanding of Irish employment law.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- CIPD Level 3 / Level 5 qualification desirable.
