Orange Recruitment is urgently hiring a House Coordinator for a respected adult residential service in Kildare. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified professional to step into a leadership role, overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support for adults with intellectual disabilities.

As House Coordinator, you’ll lead a dedicated team in promoting the well being, independence, and dignity of residents within a warm and inclusive environment. Applicants must hold a Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or equivalent) and have a full driving licence with access to a vehicle. Salary Range: €41,269 – €52,445 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, permanent

Essential Requirements

  • Level 7 qualification in Social Care

  • CORU must be in-process or completed

  • Full driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle

  • Minimum of one year’s experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally with some leadership or supervisory responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Daily Service Operations: Oversee the effective and safe running of the residential service, ensuring all processes and systems support a high standard of care in line with organisational values.

  • Provide Leadership and Supervision: Support, guide, and supervise Social Care Assistants and Volunteers, fostering a cohesive, motivated team that delivers person-centred care.

  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Implement and monitor compliance with statutory, HSE, and HIQA quality and safety standards, ensuring all practices meet required governance frameworks.

  • Promote Resident Well being: Prioritise the welfare and dignity of residents at all times, supporting their right to live with independence and participate fully in community life.

  • Foster a Homely Environment: Take responsibility for household management, ensuring the home remains a safe, comfortable, and supportive space for all residents.

  • Drive Service Quality and Improvement: Regularly evaluate service delivery, report on quality standards, and identify areas for development or improvement.

  • Model Professional Conduct: Demonstrate leadership through professional conduct, respectful communication, and an inclusive, empowering approach to both residents and staff.

  • Support Person-Centred Planning: Work closely with the Person in Charge and multidisciplinary teams to support the personal growth and goals of each resident.

  • Resolve Conflict Effectively: Apply mature, solution-focused approaches to managing conflict, balancing diverse perspectives within the team or among residents.

  • Promote the Organisation’s Vision: Actively contribute to a positive, values-led culture that reflects the ethos and mission of the organisation in all aspects of service delivery.
