This organisation is recognised for its long-term approach to building performance, specialising in mechanical and electrical maintenance within complex, high-occupancy environments.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Health & Safety Manager will take ownership of health, safety, and compliance across maintenance and project activities. This is a hands-on position, working closely with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe systems of work are embedded and consistently applied.

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
- Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and industry standards
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across live client environments
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Provide guidance, training, and support to engineers, site managers, and subcontractors
- Manage subcontractor safety performance, including prequalification and ongoing compliance
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and performance metrics
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders on health and safety matters
- Support the wider ESG and sustainability objectives through safe, compliant operational practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role within building services, M&E, facilities management, construction, or maintenance environments
- Strong working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and best practice
- Comfortable working across multiple live sites and operational teams
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with operational and leadership teams
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
- Membership of a professional safety body is desirable
- Full driving licence required
