Orange Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager with a a strong background in Electrical works, to lead the delivery of exceptional facilities services at our clients Manufacturing site in Swords. This is a key leadership role, requiring a confident, solutions focused professional with strong operational experience and a people first mindset.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment and understands what it takes to ensure the smooth day to day running of a high performing Manufacturing space from planned maintenance and cleaning through to space management.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of all hard and soft facilities services on-site, ensuring services are delivered to the highest standard and fully aligned with client expectations, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Lead, motivate and support the on-site team, including technicians and service staff, ensuring effective training, inductions, and performance development plans are in place.
- Oversee the scheduling and execution of all PPM and reactive maintenance through the site’s CMMS, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Manage third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols and service level agreements.
- Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are rigorously upheld, including the closeout of any audit actions or corrective measures.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of the site, ensuring budget adherence and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the Account Director with client reporting, performance data, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying service enhancements and operational efficiencies that improve both client satisfaction and team performance.
- Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota and provide leadership support for any emergency or out-of-hours issues.
- Act as the on-site ambassador for Aramark, cultivating strong relationships with the client and identifying opportunities to extend or enhance our service offering.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing facilities operations in a high-profile environment, with strong exposure to soft services (hard services experience a plus).
- A confident leader with a hands-on approach, able to inspire teams and maintain high standards in a fast-moving setting.
- Strong working knowledge of office building systems and technical services.
- Fully Qualified Electrician.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- IOSH or similar health & safety qualification (preferred but not essential).
- Financially aware, with the ability to manage budgets, report on performance, and identify efficiencies.
- A proactive and dependable attitude, with the confidence to take ownership and lead from the front.
