Client Receptionist

We are hiring a permanent full time client / corporate receptionist who has experience in a busy and high performing environment and enjoys working in a client facing role. The client reception team offers a 5 star service to our clients. The team is extremely pro-active and ensures a seamless client experience for all visitors. In this role you will be part of a professional reception team who work closely together and with IT, Catering and Facilities to ensure everything runs smoothly.

About the role

In this role you will be:

  • Meeting and greeting all visitors and clients to the building;
  • Dealing with a high volume of telephone calls on a busy switchboard;
  • Booking internal meeting roomsand catering;
  • Coordinating internal events;
  • Booking taxis for colleagues and clients;
  • Issuing swipe cards to new joiners;
  • Managing a variety of administrative responsibilities; and
  • Dealing with email, phone and in-person queries.

About the person

  • You have at least three years’ experience on a busy client reception in a legal corporate environment and 5 star Hotel highly advantageous
  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills, you are an engaging and confident communicator, and have the ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external clients;
  • You are extremely professional and reliable, with an energetic and focused manner;
  • You have a flexible proactive approach, you can multi-task, prioritise and work on your own initiative;
  • You are well organised, efficient and have good problem solving skills;
  • You have experience coordinating in-house events;
  • You are dependable, flexible, and have the ability to work in a busy team and shift environment (between the hours of 7 : 45 am to 6 : 30 pm); and
  • You understand the importance of confidentiality in this role.
