Change Management Facilitator
Location: Galway (Onsite)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Change Management Facilitator to support the organisation through a period of strategic transformation and organisational development. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, managers, HR and key stakeholders to translate strategic priorities and organisational review outcomes into practical, sustainable actions that enhance organisational performance and service delivery.
This role requires a highly skilled facilitator with strong stakeholder management abilities and experience delivering large-scale change initiatives within complex and regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Change Management Strategy and Framework.
- Translate organisational review findings into a prioritised implementation roadmap.
- Support leadership teams in embedding sustainable organisational change.
- Staff Engagement and Facilitation
- Design and facilitate staff workshops and engagement forums.
- Support cross-functional teams in planning and managing change processes.
- Promote staff involvement in the design and implementation of change initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and deliver a structured communication strategy.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team in communicating change through clear and transparent messaging.
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials, FAQs and regular progress updates.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Change Implementation
- Establish governance structures, reporting lines and terms of reference.
- Support the design and implementation of new organisational structures and process improvements.
- Drive strategic initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
- Ensure change initiatives are embedded effectively across the organisation.
Risk Management
- Identify organisational and cultural risks associated with change.
- Develop mitigation plans and proactively address resistance to change.
- Support change delivery within a regulated and unionised environment.
- Monitoring and Performance
- Develop KPIs and success measures to evaluate the impact of change initiatives.
- Create reporting dashboards and performance frameworks.
- Monitor progress, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

- Experience operating within multi-disciplinary settings.
- Strong track record managing cultural change and overcoming resistance to change.
- Experience engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within the Irish or EU public sector.
- Familiarity with civil and public service operating models.
- Experience working with statutory bodies and agencies.
- Knowledge of industrial relations frameworks and unionised environments.
