Business Development Executive (Commercial P&C) | Dublin

We are partnering with our international insurance client who is expanding across Ireland, who are looking to hire a Business Development Executive to help win and develop broker-led commercial business (Property & Casualty).

If you’ve got insurance sales experience, love building relationships, and thrive in a target-driven environment, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a global business with a strong local presence.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering new business targets and building a profitable portfolio (commercial P&C).
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, key clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Understanding the broker’s business, market landscape and opportunity-then feeding that insight internally.
• Managing pipeline activity end-to-end: leads, quotes, follow-ups, conversions.
• Planning and forecasting your activity to support the strategic development plan.
• Promoting the product range and strategy to uncover and create new opportunities.
• Identifying improvement areas and collaborating with brokers to optimise profitability.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of customer service.
• Supporting wider sales initiatives across the business.

What we’re looking for

• Previous insurance sales experience (commercial lines preferred) essential.
• A proven track record of success in a target-driven role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial P&C (Property & Casualty) and broker market dynamics.
• Confident communicator who can influence and build trust with broker partners.
