Orange Recruitment are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Engineer to join our clients team based in County Louth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong technical foundation in Building Information Modelling (BIM), a practical understanding of construction methodologies, and a passion for digital project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, managing, and coordinating detailed BIM models using Revit and other industry-leading tools across multiple project stages, from concept design through to construction documentation and handover.
- Working closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure models accurately reflect design intent and align with project specifications and timelines.
- Ensuring models and deliverables adhere to internal standards, industry best practices, and client BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Performing regular clash detection using tools such as Navisworks, identifying and resolving design conflicts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to improve BIM processes, workflows, and model quality to drive efficiency and enhance project outcomes.
- Preparing technical documentation, 2D/3D drawings, and BIM data exports as required. Supporting teams with technical issues and offering mentorship on BIM best practices where appropriate.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a BIM Engineering or Digital Design role, ideally in the construction, architecture, or engineering sectors.
- Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential. Experience with additional software (Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Dynamo, etc.) will be a strong advantage.
- A solid understanding of construction processes, building systems, and how digital models integrate with real-world execution.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, communicate technical ideas clearly, and engage effectively with internal teams and external consultants or contractors.
- An analytical approach with the ability to identify issues early, propose viable solutions, and support smooth project delivery under tight timelines.
- Precision in modelling, documentation, and data management is key, we value quality in everything we deliver.

- Salary Range: €50,000 – €55,000 depending on experience and qualifications
