Orange Recruitment have partnered with a well-established main dealership in North Dublin who is currently recruiting for an experienced Automotive Operations Supervisor to join their high-performing aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical and leadership experience to join a busy, modern dealership offering long-term career progression, excellent earning potential and a strong team environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of daily service operations, support the technical team and help drive productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction across the department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinating daily operational flow across the service department
- Managing technician scheduling and productivity
- Supporting technical fault-finding and repair queries
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to manufacturer and quality standards
- Monitoring efficiency, turnaround times and operational performance
- Liaising with front-of-house teams regarding vehicle progress and customer updates
- Supporting team development and maintaining high performance standards
- Ensuring a professional, organised and safety-focused working environment
Candidate Profile:
- Strong automotive technical background
- Previous experience in a senior technician, team leader, controller or supervisory role
- Good understanding of diagnostics, repair processes and dealership operations
- Experience within a franchised dealership environment advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads within a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using dealer management and workshop systems
- Positive and proactive leadership style
