Orange Recruitment are looking for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our clients growing team in Cork. This is a standout opportunity for a driven professional to lead and shape EHS performance within a high-profile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll play a key part in influencing safety culture, managing compliance, and building trusted relationships across site and client teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of robust EHS strategies, policies, and systems
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish EHS and quality regulations
  • Act as the primary EHS point of contact for clients, site leadership, and operations teams
  • Maintain and enhance systems aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001
  • Drive audit readiness, including internal and external certification audits
  • Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and environmental documentation
  • Monitor site activities and ensure effective risk controls
  • Manage contractor safety programmes and performance
  • Lead investigations and deliver meaningful corrective actions
  • Champion a positive safety culture through training and engagement
  • Deliver clear reporting and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Support emergency preparedness and business continuity planning

Requirements:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in EHS, Environmental Management, or similar
  • 2-3+ years’ experience in a senior EHS role
  • Strong understanding of Irish regulatory requirements
  • Background in pharma, life sciences, manufacturing, or regulated industries
  • Proven experience managing ISO-certified systems
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Experience delivering training and driving continuous improvement
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel as needed
