Job Title: Social Care Worker
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: €38,321 – €55,244 per annum

Overview

An established organisation is currently recruiting CORU-registered Social Care Workers to work across residential and day services in Naas, supporting individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities and autism to lead meaningful, independent lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with disabilities to live meaningful and self-directed lives.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of individual support plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, and social inclusion.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines.

Requirements

• A minimum of Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework (e.g., BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent in Health/Social Care).
• CORU registration or evidence of application in progress.
• At least 1 year’s experience working with vulnerable adults and/or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of current policies and developments in social care and disability services in Ireland.
• Ability to contribute to and evaluate individualised support plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Proficiency in IT systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Full clean driver’s licence and access to own transport (essential).
