About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Administrator.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting inclusive employment and community development initiatives. Working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of grant management, operational support, and customer service excellence across national programmes.

Key Responsibilities
Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Deliver excellent service to partners and stakeholders, ensuring queries are managed efficiently and professionally.
- Support the submission, tracking, and administration of applications and reports.
- Organise and assist with seminars, events, and training sessions.
- Ensure all communications and data handling meet GDPR and compliance standards.
- Identify and escalate issues as needed while maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Administration & Operations
- Manage key administrative processes, including data entry, reporting, and document control.
- Review, verify, and appraise applications and progress reports within agreed timelines.
- Prepare minutes, reports, and analytical summaries as required.
- Support compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple units to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Team Support & Collaboration
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Monitor and review team outputs to maintain accuracy and quality standards.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and learning-focused team culture.
- Support cross-team projects and share knowledge to enhance collective performance.
Service Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Review and refine administrative processes to improve efficiency.
- Keep procedures, templates, and training materials up to date.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support other teams during peak workloads.
About You
You are:
- Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Customer-oriented, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable supporting colleagues and responding to change.
- Tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years’ administrative experience, ideally within a customer service, public sector, or community-focused organisation.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital workflow systems.
- A third-level qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
