National Sales Account Manager (Manufacturing) – Dublin West
My client, a long established world renowned FMCG and manufacturing company is currently adding to their sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive sales within the Chilled & Dairy categories of the business , focusing on both branded and own-label products.
- Negotiate and influence key commercial processes, including contract agreements, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), promotional strategies, new product development (NPD), and shelf space allocation across your customer base.
- Act as the advocate for the customer, creating cross-functional plans and fostering a culture of customer-centricity throughout the business.
- Take full ownership of customer projects, ensuring they consistently exceed both customer and internal expectations.
- Regularly analyse performance and stay ahead of FMCG trends to deliver actionable insights and implement necessary changes within your accounts.
- Monitor and drive key performance metrics, including NPD listings, distribution optimization, promotional effectiveness, product mix, volume, revenue, and profit margins.
- Maintain effective communication across all departments, ensuring timely updates on own-label projects that have a broader business impact.
- Fulfill administrative tasks (such as pricing and promotions) and carefully manage financial expenditures to stay within budget.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with branded or own-label products; experience with both is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successfully growing accounts and fostering strong relationships.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong skills in negotiation, organization, and presentation.
- Demonstrated experience in managing P&L, JBPs, and promotional activities.
- Deep understanding of the domestic retail industry.
- Self-motivated with high energy, drive, and passion for the industry.
- Ability to make quick decisions, with a natural curiosity and willingness to embrace change.
