Maintenance Manager

Job description

Orange Recruitment is looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our client’s team .You will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of both electrical and mechanical systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with production teams, you will focus on improving equipment effectiveness, team development, and fostering a lean culture within the plant.

Location : South Dublin

Salary: 70k- 75K

Key Responsibilities:

• The role holder should actively support and demonstrate the organization’s Vision, Strategy, and core Values: Determination, Empowerment, Teamwork, Safety, Caring, and Integrity.
• Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, including Health & Safety and Data Protection regulations.
• Uphold and enforce adherence to the organization’s vision, values, policies, and procedures at all times
• Oversee compliance with Health & Safety policies and national regulations.
• Manage safety training, risk assessments, and accident prevention
• Plan, organise, and allocate resources for ongoing maintenance, machine repairs, and upgrades.
• Manage the installation, testing, and repair of equipment and facilities.
• Lead, develop, and manage the maintenance team, ensuring performance management and skills development.
• Provide training on new machinery and safety protocols.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring financial control.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience in a production/process facility.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (AX preferred) and financial management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Degree in Engineering or relevant technical qualifications (e.g., apprenticeship).
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
