Orange Recruitment is currently partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an experienced HSEQ Lead to support operations across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality professional looking to take ownership of HSEQ performance within a well-established business that places a strong emphasis on safety culture, compliance and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational and senior leadership teams, helping to drive best practice, maintain compliance standards and support the ongoing development of robust management systems across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving HSEQ standards and initiatives across multiple sites
  • Managing and maintaining integrated management systems and associated certifications
  • Coordinating internal and external audits and supporting continuous compliance improvements
  • Delivering safety briefings, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns
  • Maintaining training records and supporting competency development programmes
  • Conducting site inspections, risk reviews and compliance assessments
  • Investigating incidents, near misses and safety observations, ensuring lessons learned are effectively communicated
  • Supporting the development of policies, procedures and operational guidance documents
  • Monitoring safety and environmental performance data and preparing management reports
  • Working closely with operational teams to identify and address emerging risks
  • Managing PPE requirements and supporting safe working practices across all locations
  • Building positive relationships with regulatory bodies, clients and key stakeholders
  • Supporting environmental initiatives and sustainability objectives
  • Encouraging a culture where safety, accountability and continuous improvement are embedded in everyday operations

Profile:

  • Degree or Higher Diploma in Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline
  • Previous experience within an HSEQ, EHS, SHEQ or Health & Safety role
  • Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and audit processes
  • Experience conducting site inspections, investigations and compliance reviews
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong report writing and analytical capabilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently across multiple locations
  • Membership of IOSH or equivalent professional body desirable
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required

Package:

  • Salary: €60,000 – €75,000
  • Annual Bonus: 10%
  • Health Insurance Allowance: €1,000
  • Employer Pension Contribution: 5%
  • Monday to Friday working hours
