Orange recruitment are seeking an Construnctio Project Manager to join a well established construction company

Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Salary: 65k-85k

Location: Dublin

Job Overview:

• Plan, manage, and oversee all stages of construction projects.
• Ensure projects meet client expectations and stay on time and within budget.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to keep everything on track.
• Handle procurement, budgeting, and any project changes.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Keep communication open with all stakeholders and provide regular updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create project plans with timelines and resources.
• Oversee construction work to ensure it follows the schedule and plans.
• Select contractors based on their qualifications and costs.
• Track progress and report key updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure the project complies with safety and legal standards.
• Manage all project documents and contracts.
• Lead meetings to address challenges and ensure project goals are met.
• Evaluate the project to find areas for improvement and correct issues.
• Guide and support the project team.

Required Skills:

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Residential Experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with construction management software.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in project or construction management.
• Understanding of risk and budget management.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations.
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
• Knowledge of lean construction principles.
