**New Role: Chief Financial Officer – Permanent – Dublin – DOE**
Our leading client, based in Dublin, a revenue cycle management company providing solutions to healthcare providers in Ireland and the UK, are looking to hire a Chief Financial Officer for their team.
Position Summary:
As their Chief Financial Officer, you will be the financial architect of their ambitious growth strategy. This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial operations, from planning and risk management to financial reporting and compliance. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to drive financial excellence and sustainability. Your expertise in international finance, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in steering Medserv towards its strategic goals.
Areas of Responsibility:
Financial Management:
- Lead financial evaluations, due diligence and integration of potential acquisitions, particularly in the healthcare and software sectors
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including central banking and UK-specific requirements
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors, facilitating smooth audits and implementing recommendations to enhance financial processes
Strategic Leadership:
- Spearhead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with the business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and value creation
- Provide financial insights and guidance to the CEO and executive team to support data-driven strategic decision-making
Investor Relations:
- Serve as the primary liaison for investors, providing transparent financial information and building strong relationships
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to investors and the board
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Mentor and support finance team members, providing opportunities for professional development and career growth
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
- Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred
- 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, with a focus on the healthcare or software industry
- Experience with financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), particularly those relevant to healthcare or software industries
- Strong understanding of financial data analytics and ability to leverage technology for financial reporting and decision-making
- Proven track record in managing international finance, ideally in Poland, the UK, and Ireland
- Strong technical and financial reporting competence, with a deep understanding of international accounting standards and best practices
- Extensive experience in M&A, including financial due diligence, valuation, and integration
- Demonstrated expertise in investor relations and working with boards of directors
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong ethical grounding and commitment to financial integrity

- All offers are subject to a valid work permit
- Some/light travel to other sites and offices required
- Hybrid role as agreed
