***New Role: Associate Director – Asset Management Audit – Dublin and Cork – €80k-€95k base plus bonus***

Our leading client, a professional services firm, based in Dublin and Cork are looking to expand their Asset Management Assurance team due to their phenomenal growth. There is an excellent package on offer for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking a responsibility for a portfolio of FS clients to ensure delivery of multi-disciplined services in line with engagement objectives, scope and budget.
  • Promotion and oversight of quality audit work on your client engagements
  • Proactively develop client relationships, working closely with client management to develop commercially focused solutions to issues identified.
  • Preparation and presentation of business tenders in order to develop and grow your client portfolio.
  • Managing work in progress, billing, cash collection and budgeting.
  • Ongoing supervision, training and development of staff to ensure that firm standards are maintained throughout the entire audit process.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a clear ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality and risk management.
  • Assisting and motivating the team, allocating administration tasks, job planning, training needs, staff issues, identification of resources etc.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience within Fund Administration, UCITS ManCo, Asset Management or the Professional Services Accountancy (Big 4/Top 10) sector.
  • Strong technical skills (Irish GAAP and auditing standards. IFRS experience would be desirable
  • Electronic auditing experience ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines
  • Ability to make professional judgements based on findings
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment
  • Experience working as part of a team supporting others
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience gained in a Big 4 Accounting firm in Ireland would be ideal
